My $71 bid wasn't good enough, the high bidder won this auction at $100. I sent an email to the party that thought this was a fake chip, and told him that several knowledgeable chip collectors felt the chip was genuine. I also asked him if he was going to contact any other bidders about the chip. Here is his response:
"Hi! Well, if the experts think it is real, then who am I to argue. I took out a few pieces from my collection, and there is just too much difference in the quality of the lettering and the shape and position of the bunny for my liking. I just don't know for certain without seeing it hands on. No, I don't think I will contact anyone else about it. I think I've stirred up enough trouble already. I just know that I wouldn't be bidding on it. Good luck in your bidding..."
THANKS to all that posted a response or sent me an email.
Now, about my bidding on auctions by Dean "Vegasclarks@lvcm.com" Clark, I will say the following. I have bid on many of his auctions and won quite a few as well. Yes, I have read negative remarks about him on The Chip Board. However, I have never had anything but a positive experience with him. Every chip I have purchased was exactly as described, and promptly shipped. I am a satisfied customer.
