~~~ and question why a name isn't known, I do agree the style of engraving isn't common along with the numeral 7 being unusual as well but, that can be anyone's style; female or male. What I find interesting and does stand out the most.is the engraved border on the higher denomination which, I have not noticed on any French work in a series from that period or not... so, maybe there is another piece with this style of numeral 7 where something might be able to be traced or whatever...
