There were a few chips at the Bahamian Club with the £ to the right of the denomination though, I do not see the same on Bahamian currency and, even though the Bahamian Club was in operation in the 1920's, I do not have any reason to believe these plaques were from there... thus the reason for my post; that someone knows where the £ was used to the right side of the denomination. I see nothing in Seymour's or anywhere online other than where the "£" sign was the official currency.
Any help would be greatly appreciated; even a guess, which I would explore.
