Over the years I have acquired various Trial Strikes of the CC>CC Convention Medals. These are the ones that the company that produces the Convention Medals use to test the dies to make sure that everything is set up properly before making the actual Medals in Bronze and Silver.
I also have some "Proof" and "Cameo" strikes of the Silver and Bronze Medals that were produced from polished dies and were struck on special planchets.
A few months ago I picked up around 30+ more Lead Trial Strikes so I now have examples from all 22 Conventions from 1993 thru 2014.
This Display will be housed in the printers cabinet that I have in my Museum where I have some of my other special collections.
