Thank goodness your pup is ok.
I have had two close calls with my dogs this week.

Cruiser wandered out the front gate (yes - I left it open) and was high-tailing it north towards "home" (the old house) and yesterday - the puppy - Diamond - ran out in front of a school bus.

Between the son's car ordeal and your bouncing baby bouzer (sp??), I'd say your heart job is holding up quite well!!
