I have never shown these in public but was reading a Facebook post about sellers trying to keep the mystery of known numbers alive, so I decided to show these. One mystery less in the world.
After research (not only by me) we had to decide that we could not put an exact place of use and timetable on the poker chips.
In total only two of the mother of pearl poker chips are known, one is in my personal collection.
I’m not saying that these are as rare as the Napoleon chips, but they are super rare in my book.
So, it will not be strange that I will trade these for other French, Belgian, Spanish or Dutch mother of pearl that is in the same range of scarcity.
