Maybe i'm not very bright. How does one get on a list?
Seems to me that falls under the heading of connections.
I'm sure that there are properties that cater to your needs more than others. I'm also sure that there are properties that you can't get the right time of day from.
I have yet to see ANY dealer complain that they are being treated too well.
Its like anywhere else they take care of the good/regular customers first.
Boils down to one thing, professional jealousy and that my friend is part of what is called BUSINESS.
