Today is Delaware Day - December 7, 1787

Everyone knows about Pearl Harbor and the Japanese attack on December 7, 1941 but few people know about Delaware Day - December 7, 1787.

Delaware Day commemorates the day back in 1787 when Delaware ratified the U.S. Constitution.

Delaware was the "First" State to officially vote to ratify the U.S. Constitution, thus Delaware is often referred to as "The First State".

I am proud to be a life long resident of the Great State of Delaware, however I am embarrassed by the current "resident" in the "White House" who unfortunately is also from Delaware.

Take care,
Jerry
