The last time I went to Barcelona, I went to the casino and asked for Fran. He appeared and couldn’t have been nicer. He walked me to the cage and told them to sell me anything I wanted. He gave me a bottle of Spanish wine and a few decks of cards. We sat at the bar and I got to practice my linguistic skills: our entire conversation was in Espanol. Altogether a stand up guy and a great host.
