I believe your Baines des Mer 5 F was the lowest-denominated chip (jeton) available in the Monaco casino. Lots of them were carried off by tourists as souvenirs, to the disgust of les croupiers and le jefe du pit or whatever a Pit Boss is called in Monaco. There are several designs as the casino had to re-order. Once in a rare while, one turns up in a flea market hoard of "precious jewelry." Value is probably not real high but a fun item to show off and probably still collector interest in them!
