Many of these came to me in airtites, so I don’t know how long they’ve been there. Many others were stored much as you see them (horizontal stacks) and they shake and rub against each other when I would take the boxes out to add/re-sort/remove chips. I’ve only been actively collecting for almost 3 years, so that’s the longest I personally would have put a chip into a new airtite. People who have been collecting longer may have a much better idea of longevity. For now, I’m happy to report that my display of 627 chips on my actual desktop, is pristine.
