The MOP have been attributed to Café in Paris for several years on eBay.

Check out their (Café) metal jetons.

I don`t know if there is a connection between the MOP and metal tokens from Café..

Not sure how far the investigation has progressed via ChipGuide or who submitted the 1F.

Though 5 C. is a low denomination in Frf... it was not uncommon.
