Rich Hanover suggested I ask for the boards guidance on what these 8 chips were used for in Capone's Chicago Cotton Club. Eliot Ness says in his letter that these were taken during the famous 1931 raid right before Al Capone's trial. Do you have any insight on what game/purpose they may have been used for? We currently call them “poker” chips, which is incorrect I am told. I would like to get the correct term into our auction description and I would be grateful for your feedback.
Thank You!
