I have a couple old chips with a boot design Listed as PM-CR in Dale Seymour's book. Does anyone know how these chips were made and engraved? It appears the basic boot shape was stamped or pressed into the chip while being made and then all the extra details and shading were added by hand later. If you notice the spurs, pull straps, horizontal seams, and shading are all different. The fronts and backs of the chips are different as well. I'm guessing there are no to chips exactly alike. These all would seem to be from the 1880's or 90's.
