Ok..........You SHOULD know of him. He was the World Straight Pool Champion in 1969 & one of the best one pocket players ever. They had a $1,000 entry one pocket tournament a couple of years ago in Reno with all the top players showing up for it. He showed he can still play as he won the tournament!
