~~~ at a Coconut Grove antique show. I completely discounted that idea, especially since there wasn't any name attached to the monogram.
Though I don't remember what the price tag was on both of the pieces, I do know it was high enough for me to pass up -- and I have never seen them since, except for this piece being offered on eBay several months ago which was one of two pieces and, leads me to believe the same two pieces from 30-years earlier at the Grove show
While searching for the monogram in the Americas, I found it on an octagonal "50" which was said to be from a famous casino in Rio, but we pretty much know the inventory from that establishment and they did not have any MOP that know of.
The decimal point is somewhat odd, too... and the piece is Pink which was not uncommon way back.
