In January 2020, just before the pandemic outbreak, I went on a riverboat cruise that started in Lyon and went south on the Rhone to Marseille. All I can say is that all around it was one of my best vacations ever. The boat was great, the food was better, the sightseeing spectacular and we made friends with 3 other couples from Detroit and had a great time.
