The scan below is from the USPC salesman sample book. As you see, the chips were delivered to the Naples Little Club, Naples, Florida. The Florida experts have weighed in. After years of reserch, the conclusion is that the chip is not a Florida chip and also there never was a Naples Little Club in Naples, Florida.
To my thinking, the info on the USPC tag is overwhelming evidence. USPC states the name of the club and where it was located. Case closed. The club could have opened and closed after a very short period of time. Maybe it was a club within a hotel. I’m sure there are other reasonable possibilities.
Can anyone provide convincing evidence one way or the other regarding the location of the chip.
By the way, I should point out that none of the Florida “experts” own the chip! There are 4 known, the 4 from the sample book. Another chipper and myself bought the book. Of the 4 chips, my two are shown below.
