No coded generic should be attributed to any ~~~

~~~ specific gaming operation unless that generic chip carries a definite alteration such as a painted on or embossed graphic such as the embossed Florida Palms if there is documentation showing where they were used... and, even in such cases where certain generic chips (not different than any other generic of the same code) were known to be part of a named gaming operation (not just a property, but rather an operator) inventory and documented as such; found on the property and confirmed by local historians such as in Saratoga, New York, should not be listed in ChipGuide, since any generic chip in its original state of manufacture could have been used anywhe else... especially on the wheel.
