As usual, Pete, your stories lack the knowledge of having the real truth. So here are a few facts for you: The Flamingo chip story took place in about 1990. Long before obsolete chips had any really great value. At the time I was offered those chips I had no knowledge of old chips at all. I checked with one of the obsolete chip EXPERTS and we discussed what I should offer for them. It ended up I paid $35.00 each. I sold most of them to personal chip collecting friends for $60.00. One person that was offered the chip even TURNED it down telling me that was too much to pay. The last two or three (can't remember which for sure) I gouged people that contacted me that I didn't really know back then the inflated price of $90.00 that you qoute.
We all laugh about that episode in my collecting past. If people think they are being smart by "laughing behind my back" that is just more plain stupidity and keep your feeling sorry for someone that needs it.
Yes, we all do things differently AND say things differently. Stupid happens to be one of my favorite expressions. When I start calling you a stupid moron then you can really start to worry.
Wait just a minute here, you did it again. Putting things on paper that never happened. I just went and re-read all the copies of everything that has been posted on this subject and NOWHERE did I call you stupid. So we have now wasted two days discussing something that never even happened. OK, so I won't call you a new name, but I am sure going to think a few.
AND as for Thanksgiving dinner, you are out of luck. Ask anyone that knows me, I don't cook. With all the free food there is in this town it's (no I won't use my favorite word again) for two people to eat at home.
Now can we be done with this so I can go back to figuring out how I am going to come up with enough money to buy one each of all the stuff the Palms is going to open with!!!!
