I listen to a lot of audiobooks because of my long commute. Last year I listened to one that I think was called "The History of Bourbon." Fascinating reading (listening), especially the part about the government bailing out the oak barrel industry by making it a requirement that "Bourbon" must be aged in a NEW oak barrel. Thus allowing the barrel makers to stay in business supporting the whiskey makers who wanted to use the Bourbon label.
With that said, you made quite the haul. If you like that Bulleit Bourbon, you should give Bulleit Rye a try...that is, if you dare to venture off the beaten path.
