I believe I have been keeping an open mind about what I'm hearing and reading about this past election.
However, when I see stories about Trump supporters displaying flags outside their front door or flying from their vehicle that read "F**K JOE BIDEN AND F**K YOU IF YOU VOTED FOR HIM" or the one I saw yesterday that said "TRUMP 2020 - F**K YOUR FEELINGS", I'm wondering why I'm still being told to keep an open mind when clearly many Trump supporters are not.
Yes, computers can be hacked. And paper ballots can be replaced with other paper ballots. And I would prefer to never hear the world "impregnated chads" ever again.
John Zoesch and Ron Kirzner, IMHO, hit the nails on the head. In fact, the only fraud I heard was the one who was BEGGING the Georgia Secretary of State to find over 18,000 ballots that didn't exist that ALL had his name on them. THAT phone call is not a conspiracy, that was a fact.
Insanity is defined as counting the same votes over and over and over and over again and expecting a different result!
And if this board would permanently ban threads of political and religious nature, I am of the belief that our hobby and our club would see our member numbers and convention numbers rise instead of going all Tom Petty (a little Free Fallin' joke). In fact, I would support a ban on ALL talk not related to our hobby (sports, music, huntin', fishin', whistling, knitting, jaywalking - am I leaving a category thread out?).
Finally, I would very much like to thank Jerry Birl for putting "NCR" before his political thread. This board was plastered in 2008 and 2012 (I stayed away from here in 2016 and 2020) with dozens political threads that had nothing to do with our hobby. I begged those posters to at least put NCR (Not Casino Related, Not Chip Related, etc.) before the thread so I could be warned and could avoid those threads. And asking for that simple courtesy was apparently so traumatizing for Phyllis Spag, among others, that I was told "NCR = Nitwits Can Rant". So, Mr. Birl, while I don't agree with your political beliefs, I VERY MUCH appreciate your use of NCR.
