Jerry simply was asking (very nicely I might add) for us to check this out and I agree that we must indulge our intellectual side and listen to both sides of all issues otherwise all the 'armchair quarterback' comments are meaningless as some never bother to research the issues and instead rely on a single media source (yes on both sides so you need to listen to both sides to get ALL the info) or biased fact-checkers to do it for them. Investigative journalism cannot be one-sided and sometimes when modern media chooses sides and what they will and will not investigate [and 'thoroughly', this is key] others will do the job. This does not automatically disqualify them just because they are independent.
The reason there is so much polarization (and it didn't quickly form in the last 4 years) is the modern failure to listen and discuss the issues, in a civilized manner. Hyperbole and emotion now dominate and that is a sad loss.
