I'll say one thing . . . she's confident.

I was out at Turning Stone last night playing poker. Whenever somebody got beat on the last card we said they were "Diamondbacked" (instead of rivered). It was catching on.

BTW did anybody notice that if the Yankees had put a pitcher in instead of Witasek (who has only seen action throwing BP for the past two months) we could have stopped the scoring at 4-0, then the Yankees scored 2 so they would have come to bat in the Top of the ninth needing a 2 run home run to tie. I guess Torre was trying to give them a break.
