The San Diego poker scene has been absolutely decimated by the pandemic.

Oceans 11, Seven Mile, Jamul and Sycuan are the only poker rooms that remain open.

Closed: Pechanga (Riverside County, but 1 mile from the SD County border)
Pala, Pauma, Harrahs, Barona, Lucky Lady, all closed since March 2020.

I believe Palomar and Viejas both closed before that.

Starting next Saturday, July 31 at 10:00 am Oceans 11 is finally bringing back their $200 weekend tournaments with $20,000NCV chips and 30 minute levels, maximum of 100 players.

I’ll be playing in this tournament next Saturday and hope to see some Chipboard members there like in the good old days, pre-pandemic. It is sure to sell out..
