About an hour and 20 outside of town is Devils tower monument of Close encounters fame. Between Deadwood and Wall drugs is a Car Museum I believe near wall drugs and a small western type town between. Plus in Rapid City there are a few things like bug Museum and a gorilla park drive thru. Also on the way to crazy horse is a train museum with alot of outside and inside trains, pretty cool.
