Aladdin (also known as "Aladdin and the Wonderful Lamp") is a middle eastern folk tale which first appeared in print
in the book "One Thousand And One Arabian Nights" published in Paris in 1710. A far darker and more complex story
than the one told in the 1992 Disney movie, Aladdin is the tale of a young street urchin who finds a magic lamp in a
cave, summons a pair of powerful genies, defeats an evil sorcerer, marries the princess, becomes a great & fabulously
wealthy ruler, and lives happily ever after.
