Scott; A regulation game is NINE INNINGS.... not just the 9th. You are ignoring what events had transpired the other 8 innings in which those other players behind and IN FRONT of the DB pitcher who DID NOT execute playing their positions very well. What happens in inning #1 through #8 are just as important as what happens in the 9th. Yes, Kim drove the final nail in the DB's coffin... two nights in a row ... but he had a lot of help earlier in the games by other DB player miscues and the lack of taking advantage of multiple scoring opportunities earlier in the game by leaving runners on base that would have won it for them.

So conversely, the CREDIT should go to the Yankee players who drove in the wining runs.... and performed in their defensive and offensive positions skillfully ... and not as a matter of "LUCK".

The fact is the Yankees simply outperformed Arizona DB's. Yankee-haters can color the victory any way they want... but the end result remains is that the team that scores the most runs wins. If Arizona has any chance to win it all... (and they have a chance) they've got to avoid making those same kind of mistakes.
