Hi, Oscar. Good meeting you (briefly) at the chip show. I watched your video about the dates on these El Morocco (=EM) vs. New El Morocco (=NEM) chips.

I don't have any independent first-hand knowledge, but here's some additional data points to consider. Comparing the EM (TR King - Small Crown) chips vs. the NEM (Christy & Jones mold) chips:

TCR-20 and ChipGuide both list them as: EM in 1964 and NEM in 1959. That is, the Small Crowns made AFTER the C&J chips.

However, the "Official ..." book by Campiglia & Wells, lists them in reverse order: Small Crowns (as a 4th issue), then C&J molds (as a 5th issue). They don't use dates in that book, only the order of issue (which has been mistaken, on occasion).

Finally, in the Howard Herz book, The Small Crowns are listed as pertaining to the 1957-58 period, then the C&J mold chips AFTERWARD in 1959-60 period.

So, it's confusing. It's possible Jay Sands may have some additional documentation for the dates in TCR.
