This was the 24th Infantry Division in München; 1963.

As we were assembling, all living-on-base dependents were told to be on the parade field at a certain time as well. I was in the first group and as the trucks began pulling in to position the team armed with what looked like a power drill began shooting us in our left arm and as we were directed to return inside we could see other formations approaching... I remember them telling us that everyone who was in the Army in Europe and their families would all be vaccinated in a few days... and I'm sure it was other branches of the military as well.
