Got home last night from Las Vegas and thought I'd share a few views of the convention, which in a word, was fantastic! When you consider the obstacles, it's really a miracle the convention came off at all - and it was done so well - thanks to all the club officers, members and volunteers who pulled together to make this thing happen for the benefit of all of us in the chip collecting community!

It was great to see old chipper friends and meet some new ones... a pleasure to get out into the real world again... and of course, wonderful to ogle all the amazing chips and other casino items the dealers had for sale.

I arrived at McCarran in the midst of a 115 degree heat wave:

Then it was on the the South Point to check in and get the lay of the land:

Lugged my bags to the elevator on the SP's magic carpet:

Tried to get my brain on Pacific Time and the convention opened Thursday morning:

Got some change for chip purchases from the friendly Harold's Club change girl:

Had a close encounter with Lady Luck at Steve Passalacqua's table:

A little of that luck must have rubbed off on me:

Friday night I dropped by the rail at the club poker tournament:

Returned home with a fabulous new slot glass that will need framing:

Also quite a few chips which I'll detail in upcoming posts...

Already looking forward to the Super Bowl show and Convention 2022!
