Shall we play a game?
To say Bob Stupak was a self promoter is definitely an understatement. On top of having his then handsome mug plastered on everything from advertisements to casino tokens, a visitor to Las Vegas in the 1980s would absolutely recognize that face of his, even if they never actually visited Vegas World.
In 1989 Bob upped the ante and published STUPAK THE ULTIMATE GAME OF SKILL AND CHANCE. This board game challenged 2-6 players to prove they were the best gambler on the planet. The game featured numerous mini versions of casino games like roulette and 21 that helped you move along the board.
About this same time, future President Donald Trump also published his own game titled TRUMP:THE GAME.
Bob, looking for a little publicity, challenged The Donald to a game of TRUMP with the loser making a sizable donations to the winner’s favorite cause. Mr Trump denied the offer with, according to John L Smith’s book NO LIMIT, a response of “Who’s Bob Stupak?” Oh well…
