It's been a while, but I've been to the NORTH RIM of the Grand Canyon several times. A different experience -- pine trees & woods, less crowded, higher elevation.

Quite a drive from LV, but combine with other Utah national parks (Bryce, Zion, etc.) for an enjoyable multi-day trip.
