Yes, it's my understanding that there's a "monitor" to check for member status upon entering the trading room. It may be a Volunteer slot assigned by Scott P. (though not positive about that).

Regarding pre-registration credentials for the Wednesday session, you do need to have them. In case you don't arrive before pick-up ends on Wednesday, GeorgeD. has kindly agreed to get them to you as a "special delivery" if you contact him by email in advance. See his post here:
