Robert The Term "Wrong Way" can be an oxi moron. When the table is cold the wrong way can be the right way to make money like Jerry said. Most players play the right way. 7 or 11 on the come out roll pays the front line. If a point is made on the come out roll then you want as many numbers to be rolled as possible and making the point number before a 7. That wins the game and the front line is paid.
Lately shooters on a come out roll make a point ( 4,5,6,8,9,10) then roll a 7 instead of the point number and everyone is out. You bet against that with a don't pass bet and you win because the 7 came out before the point.
When the table is cold like that you want to bet the wrong way, which is considered to be against most of the players playing the right way looking for points and 7 or 11 on the come out roll.
The don't come is very similar to the don't pass but that takes place after a point its made.
We always made more money on Wrong Way bets when a table is cold.
Wrong way betters are usually on either end of the table and do not participate in the hooting and hollering because wrong way betters are cleaning up while the rest of the players are loosing their bank rolls.
Not very often do you get a hot table betting the right way. But when it's hot it's hot and you bet the right way.
Will have to scout out some tables while in South Point and give it a shot.
