Awhile back, I met and spoke with the grandson of San Jose’s notorious bootlegger and illegal gambling operator John Locurto. John Locurto is seen on the cover of my book. His grandson gave me these chips that were from his grandfather’s club, Locurto Gardens. The chips consist of his initials in a horseshoe and the generics were played at the roulette tables.
