You answered one of my big questions which was: does the resin fuse to the chip? I did not plan to remove any that I have (I consider them a casino collectable other than a chip) but I've always been curious because I have heard that damage from a removed chip is obvious and tends to degrade the value further than leaving the chip encased. If that is true, I have always thought that unlike a rubber mold, acrylic resin would adhere to the chip.
