Re: IMO, greatly effects the value

How so? Does it count as "Damaged" or "Modified"? Is a chip "not a chip" if you encase it? Does it make a difference if the acrylic disk is the size of a normal coin case versus a big domed paperweight? or is it just less desirable because you can't physically hold the chip?

Also, what does "greatly affects" mean? ...Is it worth less? Or is the value lowered? cut in half? 20%?, etc.
