Westen, the Great Provider may be Reno but it doesn’t show up in Kling’s, Fuller’s or Herz’s extensive research.
Kling read every Reno newspaper from 1931 to 1981 and it’s not in his book. I never came across the name
either. The fact you found it with other Reno chips does give it some credence. Perhaps someone planned on
opening a Great Provider, had chips made, and couldn’t get licensed. I wish I knew for sure.
