Wow this address gets the award for the most changed & failed property in Las Vegas! .... I stayed at the Treasury by accident ... we had reservations at the Tropicana's new tower, however they overbooked and they comped us at the Treasury for the night. Ouch! ... I remember the one craps table across the front of the casino ... $1 bets ... you could smell the bad buffet food throughout the casino & lobby .... I really felt bad for this place ... everything was almost free ... they tried all kinds of promotions to get the low budget travelers inside ... $1.49 buffet ... .50c cocktails ... 99c shrimp cocktails, & margaritas. Match play coupons etc. The thing I remember most was the Jet engine noise coming right into our guest room ... we were almost on the runway, I did like the giant showgirls spinning around as light fixtures in the parking lot ... One night was enough for me, althought I remember winning a few hundred at the 21 tables ... we escaped to the "Island of Las Vegas" the Tropicans's new theme ... enjoy the photos ... thanks Rich
