chip usage times anyway. Rick, it has been my personal experience that Tarzan's Club only used the chips on Friday and Saturday nights and on a couple of holidays. Having been there this past weekend, I noticed that the published hours for Friday nights is 10:00 until 1:00 and 10:00 until 2:00 on Saturday night. But that does not mean the chip is always available. I was there at 1:00 Saturday night (Sunday AM) to get some chips and they had already sent them back to the main cage.
It seems to me that the chips are only available when they have a cover charge in place, and that there are other times that Tarzan's lounge/bar is open, but not doing a cover charge.
For those who do not know, when a cover charge ($10.00) is in place every paying patron receives a NCV Tarzan's chip upon entry. The idea is that the casino wants you to stop by a table as you leave the club and use the NCV as a match-play bet. I have bought Tarzan chips (no traders right now) in the past, and they have imposed a 4 chip limit. They are sold for $5 each. Other than buying from eBay (or a dealer), the other best way to get them is to hit up the patrons before they leave the club. I have not done this, but I suspect than many people are willing to sell their NCV 5 for $5 cash.
Again, I am only relaying my personal experiences from the viewpoint of being a visitor. Your friend may have better, more direct information.
