A couple comments...

I think the use of "Stag" in a club is pretty common. I have identified dozens of clubs with chips (although none but the one from Havana, IL, has "Stag" on its chips.)

Stag Bar - Hutchinson, KS
Stag Buffet - Muskogee, OK
Stag Cigar Store - Mt. Carmel, IL
Stag Domino Parlor - Pine Bluff, AR
Stag Liquor - Augusta, GA
Stag Pool Room - Evansville, IN
The Stag - Mullens, WV

All these had chips, certainly there are many more that had chips that we don't know about.

If I had to guess, I'd put the diasqr on the west coast somewhere - California, Oregon, etc. Just more common.

And I think the chip you have is a dark blue, not black (maybe wrong).
