It was one of those $3 (equivalent) per night rooms right on the waterfront. I used to leave a pack of cigarettes for the girl each day that cost me 10¢ per pack on base in München. I stayed at the same place once a month for about 15 months... It was a recommendation by one of the girls who worked at Smokey Joe's in the old part of Napoli...
