becoming chip club members. Met them while selling at the Louisville Flea Market. Paul bought some balloon pins off of Betty and me. I had an unmarked pin that Paul had been the pilot of. We became good friends from then on. We had so much in common.
First time we went to their home up on the river, I rounded the kitchen wall and there before me was a refrigerator covered with banana stickers. I have an inside kitchen cabinet door with the same.
Paul was a perfectionist and paid extreme attention to detail. Almost keep his book from ever being published.
Spent many many good times together. Barb seems to be doing fine and we are going to take her to lunch next week.
Paul will truly be missed by many but has left many creations that will live on forever.
Back in the day he and Barb designed and made pins for the club. He did fabulous work on hobo nickels.
Recently he was very involved with a new gamblers museum in Jeffersonville right across from the Firehouse museum on Spring St.
