I also got my first shot today. Pfizer as well.
I have been on 5 or 6 lists.My oncologists office as well. Last Sat. I got an e mail with a list of open appointments from the hospital I go to for PT. I drove almost an hour. There were closer places, but the days didn't work for me.
The place I went to was set up and run by FEMA. If they didn't have on FEMA shirts they were military in camos. I assume National Guard. It was very efficient and from the time I parked and got back to my car was about 50 mins.
