John, I understand the older acid testing that coin dealers sometimes use. I am fortunate to be good friends with a man who owns a nice coin store and jewelry store. He has the expensive machine and computer program that does the metal reading. I get to go in the back room where only employees go and I can use the machine as often as I wish. I respect that and try to go only once a month so I do not interfere with them making a buck. When I test I get that type of readout on the computer screen. I can just snap a picture for my records on my phone. Darn phone is good for something.

No clue as to the cost of that machine, I'm sure not cheap.
