Believe me, I know about long posts and the timer on the uploads! Been there, done that... (I think you have about 20 minutes before they start to disappear. AND...another chipboard photo quirk that you may not be aware of...don't hit "preview" too many times! Your pictures will go whacko! Trust me!!)
What I do now is type out my narrative, leaving gaps for the photos (which I number 1, 2, 3, 4, however many I need)
Once all of the typing is done, I go back and put the photos in. Alternatively, I'll type out the narrative in Word or pages, copy and paste it to the chipboard, and add the photos.
As for the upside down photos...you understand that way better than I do. I did discover that if I take photos with my phone, I have to open them in the editing program on the phone. I don't know if I have to actually edit them or not, so I just rotate them 4 times to get back to the original orientation (assuming they start with the correct orientation).
