Don't know if you plan to visit Fernley (on Alternator 50 - so-called because you HOPE your alternator does not fail on that route) - if so, no chips to be found there. They have a couple of little "casinos" that are slots only. There's the Pioneer Crossing, the Fernley Nugget (used to have a poker games on weekend nights), and Silverado which has rattlesnakes on its gas pumps and darkness inside the casino. No telling what (or who) you'll step on in there!
The Fallon Nugget is just off Route 50 (or it used to be, I presume it's still around) - if any table is open you can try for some fighter-jet chips. As I remember, there are a couple of different designs - one was a grand opening chip. The manager will hopefully agree to sell you a couple.
The Bird Farm in Fallon is . . . long gone. Think Stockman's, on Route 50 on the west side of Fallon, is still operating. As I remember it, they play with $1 tokens (unless they finally got some real chips) with $5 as the lowest denomination chip.
There's also the Nugget Casino on Route 50 in Dayton, billing itself as the Friendliest Casino in Dayton but since it's the ONLY casino in town, they can growl and snap at you and still make good on their boast. Slots only.
That's about all I can think of on Route 50, as Nana would sing, "Lonely lonely lonely." Only lonely, lonely, lonely,, and you'll have plenty of spare time to practice singin' as you lope along through the sagebrush. And bring a spare alternator.
