Casino Communal Visé, Belgium.

In the last quarter of the 19th century, the QUADEN family
opens a hotel-restaurant near the Visé train station.
On August 15, 1914, the building was set on fire by the Germans
who destroyed almost everything in the city.
After the war, a new Grand Hotel is built.
In 1938, Dutch investors wanted to install a
game room in one of the many rooms of the Grand Hotel.
A sum of 50,000 F "circulates" between the 2 countries. It seems
that it was used to purchase the authorization.
The casino was only open for a few weeks ...
