I stopped by Everett's home in Laurel, MS a couple of times while I was on my many cross country trips looking for chips. Everett collected everything from his home state of Mississippi and we traded Roulette chips on many occasions. Everett was always very excited to add chips to his collection and couldn't wait to see what new chips I had for him.

On one visit, my wife Nancy was with me and Everett invited us in to visit and do some chip dealing. We sat at an older dining room table with plastic swivel chairs. While my wife was sitting at the table the plastic chair broke and she landed on the floor. We all had a big chuckle over her unfortunate spill. She was totally embarrassed and we never forgot that visit with Everett !!

It is sad to see another of my "Chip Buddy" pass away - may he rest in peace.
